Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20-21 NIV)
Almighty God, our Dear Heavenly Father ~ Thank you for the boundless joy we experience on this new Lord's Day. Bless Christians around the world today as we consider the supremacy of your Church, the Kingdom of Heaven on this earth. Help us to realize that no earthly throne or palace compares with the grandeur of what is the true nature of the spiritual Kingdom. In Jesus name, Amen.
