Most Holy God, our Dear Father in Heaven ~ How wonderful to be invited into your presence on this new day that arrives with even more verification that your promises are faithful and true. Help those who are experiencing moments of defeat and despair as they face what looks like hopeless circumstances. Help us not to be overcome by the tricks of the Devil and lose our hope. Open our eyes to the abundant spiritual blessings that sustain the faithful during good times as well as bad. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Sergei was our only child for the Sunday Bible class. This is so commendable of him to come, even when his two friends had to go somewhere with their parents. He wanted to quote his memory verse. For this, he received his first yo-yo and a short lesson from an old Duncan yo-yo aficionado. He also had adult style questions about the reason for worship. During our worship services, we only had the usual faithful few, but that did not deter our worship of God here in Nikolaev, Ukraine. As usual, Afolabi and Akinrinde helped set things up and put everything back in our storage room after the worship services. We have an appointment to meet tomorrow with Yuri the man who has business in Nikolaev two days a week. We will also resume our studies with Lyudmila. Thank you for the many prayers as we joyfully work in this vital Ukrainian harvest field.
