Jesus answered, (Pilate) “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.” (John 19:11)
Most Kind and Faithful God, our Father in Heaven ~ Thank you for this new day and the blessing of life that kindles the flame of joy that we experience as we live faithfully to Jesus our Lord. Help us to recall daily how terrible a sin it is to be disloyal to our King of Kings. Give believers moral courage and strength as we face a world that is rapidly turning toward even more darkness. In Jesus name, Amen.
