Most Holy God, our Dear Father in Heaven ~ Thank you for this new day that arrives with brilliant hopes as we follow our Good Shepherd. Give faithful Christians bold faith so that the magnificent Church that Christ purchased with His own blood will be in the first place as we consider our priorities . Give us boldness to live courageously and without fear as we trust in our Lord. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Two young men at the home for orphan boys who have gotten in trouble wanted to put on a show for us when we visited there this week. We plan to be back with them with on Saturday and introduce them to some eternal truth that will help them find their way if they will hear God. We only had our little camera phone with us that day so the quality was not so good. Excuse me if you can't see this image very well. Yesterday afternoon as we concluded our Bible study, our brother Stepan on the left led a most sincere prayer. You may recall that he and Nikolai were baptized into Christ on the same snowy day. Their strong faith along with that of our sister Lyuda is very encouraging. We visited with some of the workers in the building where the church meets then we walked back to the center of town. As we were walking along, we received a phone call from our dear brother Akinrinde in Nigeria. We heard his voice for about half a minute, but then we could not make a connection. At least we could hear joy in his voice and we felt that he is OK. Thank you for the prayers.
