“But I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:36-37 NIV)Almighty and Righteous Father in Heaven ~ Thank you for the unusual gifts that we receive from your kindness as we face this new day. Help us to use wisdom and caution when we speak so that we will not say anything untruthful or injurious to another. Rather, help us to consider how to speak kind and truthful words that will build up those who are downhearted or searching for answers to challenges of this life. In Christ name, Amen.
