Dear God our Savior ~ Thank you for the wonderful gift of life on this new Lord’s Day. Bless Christians around the world as we assemble in peaceful communion to celebrate our faith in Jesus Christ in whom we trust and obey for eternal life. Shield our brethren who must face harsh opposition and even beatings and imprisonment because of their faith. Give us wisdom so that we will properly communicate the superior position of Christ over His church. In Christ name we pray, Amen.
Photo: We were in Nikolaev in late April and early May last year on our exploratory trip to determine the feasibility of helping to launch a new church in this great city. It did not take us very long to fall in love with the many wonderful people we met then and now we are especially drawn to this city because of the new Christians there. Thank you for you prayers as we prepare to leave for Ukraine on 20 March.
