Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world: whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. (John 8:12)
Our Dear Heavenly Father - Thank you for the love and kindness that we receive from your rich generosity on this new day. Help us to eagerly follow the perfect example of righteous living by walking in the steps of Christ. Give us wisdom to overcome the human weakness of pointing the finger of accusation at other sinners, even as we ourselves enjoy the precious forgiveness of our own sins because of the blood that Jesus shed on the cross. In Jesus name, Amen.

After the worship these two kids wanted to stay around and read the Bible and talk with us. Five of the Maritime Institute students came, and one young man attended our meetings for the first time. Galina was still calling phone numbers from the newspaper until 11.00 last night trying to locate an apartment for Viktor and Oxana who arrive later this morning. They plan to be help us here us for a week. They will be most helpful to our efforts to teach the neighborhood children about God's love.
