Most Holy and Righteous God, our Dear Heavenly Father ~ Thank you for the brilliant gift of life that occupies our earth bound bodies. Give us wisdom as we increase our knowledge of the gospel message that offers salvation to all humanity. Help us to make certain that all our doctrine stands upon the indisputable truth regarding the colossal sacrifice that our Lord and Christ paid for our sins so that, with obedient faith, we can stand before you justified even though we are powerless to take away our own sins. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Photo: Viktor and Oksana Semikoz agreed to come and help us conduct our 2010 Nikolaev Bible Camp! This is a photo from our camp last summer when the church was just getting started. We had 23 children on our highest day. Viktor preaches at the church in Svyatogorsk and Krasny Liman, Ukraine. Both these towns are close to Slavyansk. Oksana has her education as a music teacher, but she is a great teacher of the Bible for children and she does a fantastic job with all the games, songs and crafts. Both Viktor and Oksana are from a background as professional musicians/singers. They plan to be here with us from 26 July to 31 July. We hope to gather some of the same children as we had last year, as well as new kids that they bring along with some children who live near the meeting place. We are surrounded by many very large apartment building complexes.
