We rarely have an opportunity to meet a new boy here at the Boys Home. This summer we are becoming friends with a boy who struggles to communicate with others. He is a loner who is struggling with some difficult circumstances of this life. After a few times with him, we notice his sad eyes are beginning to brighten up and he was more willing to read from the scriptures this week. Our greatest opportunity with the boys at the home is to tell them the story of our Father's love. Thank you for your prayers of faith and encouragement for the spread of the gospel around the world.And it came to pass after these things, that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” (Genesis 22:1)

All Wise and Merciful God, our Dear Father in Heaven ~ We do not possess the vocabulary to properly express or even think about how much we sincerely appreciate all the benefits we receive from you on this new day. Thank you for abiding with us through the storms of life. Help us to use the wisdom you give us as we walk in step with Jesus, not to be overwhelmed by the choices we have each day. Give us strong faith like Abraham so that we will pass even the most extreme tests of our faith and stand approved in your presence on the last day. In Christ name we pray, Amen.
