Give us wisdom to fathom the vastness of the Gospel invitation that applies to every person in the world who will hear, believe and obey Christ in order to receive forgiveness of sins and the precious gift of eternal life. Galina is ever the one to want a spic and span floor. So, Saturday when no kids showed up, we had a cleaning day in preparation for worship. The cleaning person that is paid by the building administrators never seems to work us into her schedule. It was below freezing on the streets of the city as people made their way around on Sunday morning. We brought our little space heater from home to worship services since the city has not turned on heat in all districts. The little heater just seemed to stir the cool air around. It makes us feel so good when people come out on such a cold and windy day with the news of a national quarantine in place. We were very happy that our brother Nikolai was with us. Due to his work in the prison system, he is seldom in Nikolaev. After the worship services, we had a lengthy Bible study with him. We have tried to do this by telephone, but it never works out very well. He always has sincere and deep questions about God's word. We are very thankful for your many prayers and kind words.
