Most Holy and Righteous God, our Dear Father in Heaven ~ Thank you for the gift of life on this new day that brings more opportunities to enjoy your love, joy and peace in different situations. Help us to dig deeper into your word and grasp what we are challenged to do, that will improve ourselves so that those outside of Christ will know that we are truly His disciples. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Wednesday night was another opportunity for the faithful attendees to assemble for prayer, songs and Bible study. After the meeting, we were still hanging around talking, and a young woman who has recently moved her dancing school near us came over to chat with us. She was complaining about all the panic in the news about the flu situation that is causing her children to all stay at home. At least it was an opportunity to meet this person who teaches break dancing while we are studying the Bible a few doors down. Prior to this she was so busy with parents and children all the time that we could never talk to her. Who knows where this might lead? Well, at least for a while it is much quieter in the hallway.
