LORD God, our Dear Heavenly Father ~ We bring our praise before your glorious presence on this new day in which we once again are richly blessed with joy, peace, hope and love that emanates from your eternal goodness. Give us wisdom so that we will pursue things that lead to true and lasting success. In Christ Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Photo, Galina took this shot of our Friday afternoon 'date' at our local "Chicago Pizza" here in Nikolaev. We have not met the American behind this, but the American influence in present. With the exception that all the salads are Ukrainian or Russian style and the pizza toppings are local favorites. The pizza is yummy! Yes, we do have more than McDonald's here. We spent Friday receiving two book cases thanks to the kindness of Elena, the director of this House of Culture. The old 'shcoff' that she let us use was abandoned by a group of 7th Day Adventists who met in this same building 3 years ago. Then one of their members, who works in the building as a cleaning person, noticed that we were using it, and they demanded it back. That's after they had forgotten about it for 3 years. Anyway, the director got a laugh out of this religious 'competition'. Then, we worked on moving and un-boxing many books that we recently received from Eastern European Missions. Thanks to those who support this great work.
