WORD OF THE DAY - 03 May 2010

And I saw that all labor and all achievement spring from man's envy of his neighbor. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. (Ecclesiastes 4:4 NIV)

Видел я также, что всякий труд и всякий успех в делах производят взаимную между людьми зависть. И это--суета и томление духа! Екклесиаст 4:4 (Russian Synodal Version)

І я бачив ввесь труд та ввесь успіх учинку, викликає заздрість одного до одного, і це все марнота та ловлення вітру!... (Еклисиаст 4:4 Ukrainian)

Almighty God, our Dear Father in Heaven ~ Thank you for this new day that opens with a tremendous display of your glorious presence in our world that you created for all people. Give us contentment and satisfaction with work that pleases you without becoming unduly stressed trying to gage the reaction of our neighbors. Help us as we seek to know your perfect plan for our lives by submitting to Christ. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Photos: We had our usual small group of worshippers yesterday as we met together with joy, peace and love. Following the worship, we had a time of fellowship that included lively discussions about a wide range of issues affecting Christians. We continued our talks until after 3.00, and I had to remind them that we had a Bible study with Natasha. Everyone had an opportunity to sample some peanut butter on an oatmeal cookie, and they all liked the taste. We have peanut butter available in several shops. Some is made in Ukraine and another brand comes from Poland. You don't need to carry that heavy substance in your suitcases now when you visit Ukraine. Today we finally have some time to visit our advertising agency that we used in the past to print and distribute our flyers around the city. Then in the afternoon, we have another individual Bible study with Olamide. Thank you for the prayers.
