WORD OF THE DAY - 26 May 2010 from Magadan

He who rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. (John 12:48)

Отвергающий Меня и не принимающий слов Моих имеет судью себе: слово, которое Я говорил, оно будет судить его в последний день. (От Иоанна 12:48 Russian)

Хто цурається Мене, і Моїх слів не приймає, той має для себе суддю: те слово, що Я говорив, останнього дня воно буде судити його! (Йоан 12:48 Ukrainian)

Most Holy and Eternal God, our Dear Heavenly Father ~ Thank you for the sunshine of your love on this new day. Bless us with those provisions that can only originate from your vast foreknowledge of what is in store for us today. Give us wisdom as we study the teaching of Christ and help us to hearken and obey the truth that will be the basis of our final judgment. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Yesterday morning while I was handling some correspondence and preparing lessons for studies with individuals, Galina decided to sort through our Truth for Today lessons so that we can send 10 copies of the older lessons to the church in Nikolaev. Since we do not have much storage room where the church meets, we utilize our apartment as an extra storage place for Bibles and literature needed in teaching the Good News. We will mail these closer to the time we are leaving Magadan so that we can pick it up at the Post Office when we arrive back to Ukraine. Elena brought her son Alyosha with her to the Bible study and it turned out that this 20 year old young man is very interested in God's word. He is studying to be an automotive mechanic at a local vocational school. We have another appointment with them today along with some other studies. It is always wonderful the way that God prepares the way ahead of us so that we have people to teach who are searching for answers to life's problems. Thank you for remembering to pray for a great harvest of souls here in the former Soviet Union as well as around the world. We received an urgent letter yesterday encouraging us to come to a particular city in India for the purpose of preaching the Gospel to people of that land. We pray about this and other duties.
